Strictly speaking, anyone who has an interest in the continuing health and vitality of the village is a member of the Partnership. 

The Partnership was formally recognised in a village meeting on the 30th of March 2004 and a formal Consitution signed by the 'founding fathers' on the 15th of June 2004, and from then until the 3rd Annual General Meeting in November 2007 the Partnership was managed by a Committee, consisting of a Chairman and various different volunteers on an ad-hoc basis.

At the AGM in November 2007 it was unanimously resolved to convert the unincorporated association of volunteers into a Company Limited by Guarantee and that the Company so formed should seek charitable status.

The Partnership became a Registered Company ( No 6456835)  on the 19 of December 2007, with a formal Management Structure and registered members. The management structure  (following the AGM on 12th  May  2010) is as follows:

Paul Mackie Chairman and Managing Director and Company Trustee,
Heather Walker Vice-Chairman and Company Trustee,
Catherine Hodgson Company Secretary and Trustee
Daniel Hobbs Company Treasurer
David Wright  Member of Management Committee and Trustee

 

The Partnership also has Charitable Status   Charity Number  1123409


A register of members is maintained , membership costing £1, entitling members to receive regular newsletters and invitations to attend and vote at general meetings of the Partnership.
