The rent for a general rented property is lower than the rent on properties available through private landlords.

There are many different ways to rent a property from us, including:

• Through your local authority

  Most of our homes are let through local authorities. The best way to rent a Sanctuary home is to join your local authority’s housing list.

• Directly from us

  We hold our own waiting lists for properties in some areas of the country.

We aim to provide an excellent, customer-friendly service. Our residents help us achieve this by challenging our performance and making suggestions about how we can improve.

Established in 2000, Saxon Weald is a housing association managing approximately 6500 homes across Sussex and Hampshire. We provide affordable rented and shared ownership homes for individuals and families, as well as properties exclusively for the over 55s.

If you are not an existing Saxon Weald tenant, but would like to be housed by them, you will need to apply to Horsham District council to join their housing register. They work with a range of housing associations, including Saxon Weald, to provide affordable homes. If they accept you on to their register, they will explain to you how they allocate homes.
