Our Neighbourhood Plan has been submitted to Horsham District Council

The Storrington, Sullington and Washington Neighbourhood Plan 2015-2031 has been submitted to Horsham District Council for a decision whether to send it for formal Independent Examination. This Examination will determine whether the Plan should be subjected to a referendum in the Parishes. If more than 50% of residents who vote agree to accept the Plan it will be enshrined in Planning law until 2031.

In the foreword to the submission, Anna Worthington-Leese, Chair of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group, says:
“A huge amount of work has gone into producing this plan and I would like to thank everyone who has contributed, including all those who completed questionnaires, attended open days etc., all members of the Steering Group and the Focus Groups, our planning consultants at AirS and rCOH, officers and members at Horsham District Council and in particular our Clerks who have done the bulk of the work on a daily basis for the two years.”

You can find the documents submitted to HDC on the Parish Council website.
