“A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood”
13th November
The film on Wednesday 13th November will be “A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood” starring Tom Hanks.
Lloyd Vogel, an investigative journalist, receives an assignment to profile Fred Rogers, aka Mr. Rogers, a kind-hearted television presenter. He approaches the interview with skepticism, as he finds it hard to believe that anyone can have such a good nature. But Roger’s empathy, kindness and decency soon chips away at Vogel’s jaded outlook on life, forcing him to reconcile with his own painful past.
The showing commences at 7.30pm, at Sullington Hall, Thakeham Road, RH20 3PP.
The December film will be on Tuesday 10th and will be “What We Did on our Holiday” starring David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly.
Tickets are £5 and are available from the Card Shop in Storrington. Any unsold tickets will be available on the door on the night.
There is a Bar and a Raffle during the interval.

“What We Did on our Holiday”
Tuesday, 10th December
The film on Tuesday 10th December will be “What We Did on our Holiday”, starring David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly.
Doug and Abi and their three children travel to the Scottish Highlands for Doug’s father, Gordie’s 75th birthday party. The kids love, can talk with, and would do anything for Granddad.

The January film, on Wednesday 8th, will be “The Critic”, starring Mark Strong, Lesley Manville and Ian McKellen.
