1 March 2021: demand for the Storrington Community COVID-19 Support Hub has now dwindled to the point where it is not needed and so for the time being the Hub is closed. Be reassured that the infrastructure of the Hub is still there, and should it be needed in the future then it can be up and running in just a few hours.
If you are in need of help, support is available from the West Sussex Covid-19 Community Hub or the NHS Volunteer Responders.
West Sussex Community Hub For people with urgent support needs, for example, if you are going to run out of food or medicine in the next three days, contact the West Sussex Community Hub:call 033 022 27980 (8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, including Bank Holidays). NHS Volunteer Responders If you are shielding, vulnerable for another reason, a carer, or required to self-isolate, you may be eligible to receive supporting services from NHS Volunteer Responders:
call 0808 196 3646 (8am to 8pm, 7 days a week).
A number of local businesses may be able to provide delivery or take-away of everyday necessities – this list will be updated as we hear of new suppliers:

Amberley Neighbourhood Helpline

Ashington, Washington and Wiston support area
Chanctonbury Church (in partnership with Parish Councils and Wardens in Ashington) can provide practical help (help@chanctonbury.org.uk) and someone to talk to people (01903 357043) in Ashington, Washington, Buncton and Wiston. Lines open 8am to 9pm
- No volunteer should ask for the exchange of money or bank card details
- Nobody should enter your property
- All items should be left on the doorstep
- If you have concerns with callers at your doorstep, please call Horsham District Council on 01403 215230, or call 999 if it is an emergency and you feel at risk
