Dark Skies Evening
To celebrate the fact that the South Downs National Park is designated as a Dark Sky Reserve, the following activities will be running between 18.30 and 21.30:
Telescope observations outside (in partnership with Sussex Astronomy Group).
Talks on the Dark Skies Reserve (delivered by Dan Oakley, Dark Skies Ranger, SDNPA).
Family/children’s activities, which will include dressing up like a spaceman, using virtual reality headsets and, making a planisphere to track the stars.
