Shaw and Crouch book covers

West Sussex Libraries are delighted to be welcoming two gripping crime authors to Storrington Library in celebration of the Horsham District Year of Culture and Talk About Reading month, a celebration of books and reading in all 36 West Sussex libraries.

At this event, we will hear readings from the two authors, followed by an informal book chat in groups. Attendees are invited to read any book by either author and join us in the library for a cup of tea or coffee and a discussion. The event will be followed by a book sale and signing, with books provided by The Steyning Bookshop.

This event is FREE to attend – please register your space on Eventbrite to avoid disappointment: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/crime-evening-with-authors-julia-crouch-william-shaw-tickets-69881881589

About the authors:

Julia Crouch is the “queen of domestic noir” and author of Cuckoo, Every Vow You Break, Tarnished, The Long Fall and Her Husband’s Lover. Julia has worked as a theatre director, playwright, graphic designer and illustrator, before moving into novel writing. After studying an Open University Course in Creative Writing, she discovered NaNoWriMo and wrote Cuckoo, which led her to sign a three book deal with Headline, alongside many international book deals.

William Shaw is the author of the DS Alex Cupidi series, The Birdwatcher and the Breen and Tozer series. Before becoming a crime writer, William was an award-winning music journalist and author of several non-fiction books. His crime novels have been nominated for a Barry Award, the Golden Bullet and the CWA Historical Dagger, and his standalone novel The Birdwatcher was longlisted for the Theakston’s Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year.
