A garden for all seasons which delights the visitor. Started in 1988, it features cottage, woodland and Japanese style gardens, water features and borders of perennials with a particular emphasis on southern hemisphere plants. Unusual plants for the plantsman to enjoy, many grown from seed.
The differing styles of the garden flow together making it easy to wander anywhere.
This level garden was started in 1988. Eucalyptus trees provide shelter and there are many complementary southern hemisphere plants as well, notably correas, corokias, grevillea, westringia, as well as interesting woodlanders.
Open Wednesday 10th and Saturday 13th May.
Admission: Adult £5.00, Child Free
Light refreshments: Refreshments in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
Accessibility: Wheelchair access over grass, bark paths and unfenced ponds.
This garden also opens By Arrangement from Apr 2023 to Dec 2023 for groups of between 1 and 30. This means the garden welcomes visitors on pre-agreed dates. Please contact the garden owner to discuss your requirements and arrange a date for a group or bespoke visit.
