One of the loveliest and largest private gardens in the area will be opened by owners Gordon and Joan Lindsay to the public under the National Garden Scheme.
The two-acre garden surrounding a medieval hall house (not open) enjoys fabulous views towards the Downs and Chanctonbury Ring. This year the dahlia beds are a particular highlight, together with a Monet-inspired pond with a Japanese bridge, a wild flower meadow, an orchard, a hosta walk and a vegetable garden – something for everyone.
Free parking and wheelchair access.
Tea and home made cakes will be served in aid of Shipley Church.
All welcome. Children – free entry.
