A Talk by Francis Ferrer-Brown
September 5th at 7.30 p.m. at Storrington Museum,
Old School, School Lane, Storrington RH20 4LL.
Petworth House has been collecting treasures for over 500 years: Turner, Blake, Van Dyke and Reynolds to name a few of the painters. Plus antique and specially commissioned work of sculpture. But what about the people who lived there?
Who was the Wizard Earl? How did the 3rd Earl spend his time? This talk will educate and entertain you.
Frances Farrer-Brown was born and brought up on a mixed farm: rural affairs, the countryside, gardens, history and literature have always been an abiding interest.
In addition to and complementing her skills as a public speaker, in 1999 Frances became a qualified and registered Blue Badge Tourist Guide. As a Blue Badge Guide Frances covers the South East, namely Kent, Surrey & Sussex. She also covered as the East End of London for the 2012 Olympics.
Members £6, Non-Members £8. Pay at the door.
Teas & Coffees will be available after the talk.
