No need to book, just turn-up. Please read the walk descriptions carefully and choose walks appropriate for your health and fitness level.

Saturday 5th March: 2:00pm Washington Common & Rowdell. 3.5 miles 1.5 hrs.
Walk 2161. Meet Old London Rd, Washington RH20 3BN, from Washington roundabout drive north on the A24 for 200 yards, turn left and then immediate left again onto the Old London Road. Drive to the far end. A pleasant circular route which starts at the National Trust’s Washington Common woods before heading towards Washington Village. From there our route takes us along the foot of the downs past Rowdell before heading back along quite lanes to our starting point. Dogs welcome. Refreshments provided. Mick 01903 745971

Sunday 6th March: 10:00am Findon Valley and Chanctonbury. Ring 6.5 miles 2.5 hrs.
Walk 3015. After a steep climb, we explore downland taking in Findon Park, Chanctonbury Ring and the South Downs Way. Great views. Refreshments provided at the end of the walk. Meet at Washington South Downs Way car park (TQ120119). Drive south on the A24 from Washington roundabout and take the first left into Washington Borstal, then first right into the car park. Saturday 12th March: 2:00pm Cootham. 3 miles 1.5 hrs.
Walk 2047. Meet at Storrington Recreation Ground Car Park, RH20 4BG. It is an easy flat route and suitable for all abilities. Dogs welcome. Refreshments provided. Mick 01903 745971

Wednesday 16th March: 10:30am Storrington Riverside Walk. 2.5 miles 90 mins.
Walk 1507. Meet at Storrington Recreation Ground Car Park, RH20 4PG. Come and explore Storrington’s Riverside Walk. This flat, well surfaced walk is ideal for people who want an easy walk with pleasant views. Suitable for children’s buggies. Dogs welcome, no stiles/hills. Refreshments provided. Mick 01903 745971

Sunday 20th March: 10.00am Hurston Place. 4.8 miles 1 hr 45 mins.
Walk 3018. Meet at Storrington Recreation Ground Car Park, RH20 4BG. This walk takes us to the lanes and footpaths to the north of Storrington. Dogs welcome and refreshments provided. Mick 01903 745971

Thursday 24th March: 10:00am West Chiltington (1). 4 – 5 miles 2 hrs.
Walk 2082. Meet in the public car park adjacent to West Chiltington Village Hall, Mill Rd, RH20 2PZ, (TQ083179). Various routes exploring West Chiltington and the surrounding area. Moderate slopes, some stiles, no dogs please as a number of the routes pass through fields with livestock. Sue 01403 255710

Saturday 26th March: 2:00pm Lee Farm. 2 5 miles 2 hrs.
This walk takes us to historic Lee Farm which lies in the heart of the South Downs behind Storrington. The Car Park Car Park at the very top of Chantry Lane. The walk includes a steep hill. Dogs welcome. Mick 01903 745971

Sunday 27th March: 10:00am Figure of Eight. 5 miles 2 hrs 15 mins.
Walk 3033. This is a health walk which enables walkers to enjoy the beauty of the South Downs in an easy and relaxed way. The Car Park at the top of Chantry Lane. The walk is level and has no steep hills. Dogs welcome. Mick 01903 745971
