Would you like to come out and help look after Sullington Warren?
Our conservation volunteer group will be meeting to carry out invaluable work around the site to improve habitats and conserve wildlife. We meet at Sullington Warren or Warren Hill at 10.00am have tea and coffee at 11.00 and finish at 12.00 noon.
The work is varied and includes: thinning and planting trees; coppicing; clearing footpaths, tending the heather along with many other interesting tasks. We welcome newcomers and whatever the weather the more the merrier. We supply the tools and safety equipment and the all important tea, coffee and cake!

Future Plans
We go in to the next phase of our Higher Level Stewardship scheme, in which we will look to expand the heathland element of both Warren Hill and Sullington Warren, and to change the age structure of the heather on Sullington Warren to make it more resilient to environmental threats such as the heather beetle.
We will continue to graze Old Washington Common and the Rough Land with Belted Galloway cattle and with sheep. Via the path network we will create stronger links between Warren Hill and Sullington Warren.

See all sorts of bicycles from 1800 to the present. The day includes a ride around the Museum and riders are encouraged to wear period dress (if you want to join the ride, you must book in advance as numbers are limited).

Love to dance and want to keep fit, but prefer a lighter intensity, lower impact workout? Then the Fitsteps® for All Bodies master class is for you.
The new FREE dance fitness workout combines old style Ballroom dance genres such as the Bosa Nova and Foxtrot with Latin favourites like the Flamenco and Argentinean tango.
Taking place this month at Impulse Leisure Chanctonbury, Storrington, the workout combines sway and swing roots and is suitable and achievable for everyone, no matter what your age, gender or previous experience. The dance steps are easy to follow so there’s no excuse not to have fun while getting fit and learning classic dances of the ages.
The FREE master class is open to both members and non-members. It will be run by two of the Fitsteps Team who are professional dancers.
