Halls and Venues

Storrington Village Hall was built in 1894 to providing facilities for the local community. It initially functioned as the village reading and club room later becoming the village library.

After the building of the new village library it has been run as a non-profit making charity tasked with providing suitable, well maintained and reasonable priced meeting facilities to the local community ( and beyond ).

Storrington Village Hall is spacious , well maintained and easily accessible from the nearby car parks. There are a range of facilities including a large hall, a small hall and an upstairs room. There are comprehensive kitchen facilities. Disabled users are well catered for with easy access and disabled facilities on the ground floor.

Storrington & Sullington Parish Council have a number of Halls available for hire with great facilities at reasonable prices.

Session times are from:
08.00 – 12 noon,
14.00 – 17.00 and
19.00 – 23.00; however these are flexible allowing shorter or longer hire periods as required.

West Chiltington Village Hall is located in the lovely West Sussex village of West Chiltington on the edge of the South Downs National Park. It is 2.5 miles from both Storrington and Pulborough.

The Hall has charitable status as per the original Trust Deed and is managed on behalf of the community by local volunteers who are either elected Trustees or appointed representatives.

The Main Hall comprises a spacious reception area, a large hall with Stage, a well equipped Kitchen and a separate Annexe all of which are maintained to a high standard. There is ample free parking space. The rooms are centrally heated and the Hall complies with current regulations for disabled access, including a disabled toilet.

Excellent facilities are provided to local people for regular club and society meetings, including exercise classes and sports activities, as well as one off events such as Wedding Receptions, Christenings and parties for both adults and children.

The Hall is fully licensed by Horsham District Council for alcohol consumption and entertainment, details of which are available at the time of booking. Under the Hallmark Standard Scheme for Village Halls we gained the award of Level 3.
