WSCC FAMILY INFORMATION SERVICE
The Family Information Service (FIS) is run by West Sussex County Council. They offer free, impartial, up-to-date information to all families on activities, services and childcare. They are the only direct link with the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted) for registered childcare in West Sussex.

The Healthy Child Programme is a series of health and development reviews, screening tests, immunisations and information to support you, as parents or carers, to give your child the best start in life.
It is delivered by the Healthy Child Programme Team and includes Specialist Public Health Nurse – Health Visitors who work closely with other health and early years professionals.
The Healthy Child Programme is offering booked appointments for children at the Football Pavilion attached to the Chanctonbury Leisure Centre, Spierbridge Road, Storrington, RH20 4PG .

Storrington Toddler Group is a friendly group for parents/carers and children from 0 – 5. We meet on a Tuesday from 10am – 12pm (term time only) in the hall at Trinity Methodist Church, Thakeham Road.
There are lots of toys and activities to suit all ages from 0 – 5 including a baby area, ride-ons, soft play and a different craft activity each week.
Cost is £2 per family, this includes tea/coffee, juice or milk and biscuits for all! There is no charge for your first session
We also hold events such as Mum’s nights out, trips out in the summer, Christmas parties and Easter egg hunts. The toddler group also organises the twice yearly Nearly New Sales at Rydon School
We start at 9:30 with playtime and a craft, move on to snacks and nice cakes for adults, and end with music time with Ruth, which is the highlight of the morning. We end at 11. First visit free, and £2.50 after that. Find a friend and be cared for at Toddlerific!
Two Little Birds is a brand new outdoor forest kindergarten in the beautiful setting of the Barlavington Estate, Fittleworth.
We are a full time day nursery, open from 8-6pm, 52 weeks per year, accepting children from 20 months – 5 years.
Inspired by the Scandinavian forest kindergartens and the Reggio Emilia pedagogies, our children learn, play and develop surrounded by their beautiful natural environments, experiencing a slow childhood and forming great relationships with our Early Years teachers and educators.
Open in January 2023, we have 25 spaces in our beautiful barn setting, accept funded hours and childcare vouchers.
