Volunteering in the Storrington area

Thinking about volunteering?

Part of being a great volunteer is loving what you’re doing. Find something that you’re passionate about or something that inspires you, and then look for a group that fits your requirements.

There are many local groups who need help right now: from youth groups to conservation groups, from community groups to local history groups – you just need to find the one that feels right for you!

Many of the local groups will be represented at the Storrington on Show events (local Volunteering Fair), come along and meet them. Get to know the why, what and how of these groups, their successes and aspirations.

Storrington On Show

Aims: Every couple of years Storrington Community Partnership organise an event to help local voluntary organisations display their activities and attract volunteers. It also helps exchange ideas between organisations and let each other know their future initiatives and explore potential cooperation.

Publicity: the event is publicised through the local press, flyers and posters, banners, the Storrington Community website and social media.

Free: the show is free to both the organisations and visitors.
