Croquet has been played at West Chiltington since 1977 and in 1995 the West Chiltington Croquet club was formed. Our players are a familiar sight on the grounds of the playing fields adjacent to the Village Hall and part of the Sports Association.
All you need to play this fascinating and challenging game is a pair of flat shoes! We have all the equipment and you are very welcome to come along and join us at one of our hosted sessions which are held from April through September on Mondays at 9.45 a.m., Wednesdays at 1.45 p.m. and Fridays at 9.45 a.m. We meet by the sheds in the car park.
Our members play friendly matches against local clubs; attend coaching sessions and enjoy social events together throughout the year, making use of the facility afforded by the wonderful new Pavilion. For more information call 01798 368941 or email wchiltcroquet@gmail.com

Mr Pepper’s Little Learners (every Friday in the season)
Activity sessions from 10.30 – 12.30 every Friday for Under 4s.
In the school term it is pre-booked only, they can book for the whole term for discounted sessions.
In the school holidays, it is priced per session on a drop in price at £2.50 per toddler.
Tea and coffee will be provided as will all tools. For more information please refer to the Conservation Society website.
Can you spare any time, even an hour or so, to help us make Storrington a better place for people and wildlife? Just come along to any work party. It will be much appreciated.
Parham House – 25th Annual Garden Weekend
One of the highlights of the gardening calendar, the Garden Weekend is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Bringing together specialist nurseries from across the South East to showcase a wide variety of high-quality flowers and plants, our flagship event also includes garden tours, talks and demonstrations from leading experts including, Marina Christopher, Todd Longstaffe-Gowan, Tom Stuart Smith and Parham Head Gardener, Tom Brown.
Freshly prepared and locally sourced food reflecting the delicious produce from the Garden will be available throughout the weekend, as well as a range of refreshments from handpicked catering outlets.

The RHS judges will be in the village on the morning of Wednesday 11th July.
Make a difference in our village! Come and join us the previous Sunday for a couple of hours of litter picking, weeding and general tidying.
No experience necessary, all ages welcome. Sacks and litter pickers will be provided but please bring any other tools that might be useful.
Free coffee and cake at 12noon!
