Now in its seventh year the quirky Floral Fringe Fair is to be held this year at our Museum.
The fair features specialist plant nurseries, wildlife stalls, artists and makers, artisan food and street dining stalls. The fair also includes vintage stalls, classic cars, music and dancing and dressing in vintage style and most recently we have added in a flavour of the creative art of Steampunk, which will find a perfect home amongst the industrial machinery and exhibits at Amberley. Everyone is invited to come along dressed in vintage or Steampunk style if that’s their thing. This event is being hosted by the Floral Fringe Fair please visit their Facebook page for more information www.facebook.com/floralfringefair.

Did you know that volunteering improves mental wellbeing, builds new friendships, improve confidence, boosts the local economy and creates happier communities?
Volunteers Week (1st – 7th June) is a great time to recognise, celebrate and thank the many volunteers who help in local community groups. And, it’s also a time to share the volunteering opportunities for anyone thinking about volunteering locally.
During the week there will be drop ins at libraries across the Horsham district for anyone to call in and find out more, look at the volunteer vacancies or chat about anything ‘volunteering’.
Our local Storrington Drop In will be held on Wednesday 5th June, 10am – 12 noon at Storrington Library, Ryecroft Lane, RH20 4PA
For any more information please email: volunteering@horsham.gov.uk or call 01403 215191
