In our first regional event, Tony Whitbread will be giving a talk on the history of the Sussex Wildlife Trust and what its future holds. The event, which is for members of the Sussex Wildlife Trust, will be held at the Trinity Centre in Storrington.
The ticket price covers entrance and refreshments. Seating will be socially distanced, masks will be optional, the premises thoroughly cleaned before/after and sanitiser provided. With covid restrictions, seats are limited so make sure to book asap.
We will welcome arrivals from 6:30 PM, so please come early to meet the committee, see our displays, visit the 2nd hand book stall, get your refreshments and be seated for a 7:30 PM start.
There are approximately 40 parking spaces around the hall, but we encourage you to share lifts as some spaces are tight. If you have any additional needs for access and seating then please contact us in advance using the group’s email address.
Finally, with Tony Whitbread on the stage and this being the first group meeting, we are looking forward to a lively and interesting discussion session as part of this event. If you cannot join us or wish to ask a question in advance, then please send this to the group’s email address and we’ll either cover it on the night or respond separately if time does not allow.
The groups email address is: swtstorringtonregion@gmail.com
Storrington Community Partnership is putting on this Volunteering Show again this year at the Chanctonbury Leisure Centre, Spierbridge Road, Storrington. It will be held on Saturday 9th October, 10.00 – 13.30. Admission is free and refreshments will be available in the Leisure Centre’s café.

Storrington has a great deal to offer all its residents, whether they be young or old, new to the area or are simply looking for a new challenge. Its website, www.storrington.org.uk offers a wealth of information and contacts for every aspect of its community.
Anyone who has an interest in their local community, and wants to learn about how they can contribute to its range of opportunities will be very welcome!
