Exhibition: “BUSES STOP HERE” – public transport through the 20th century – particularly Southdown Buses.
Saturday, 28th September to Wednesday, 11th December at Storrington Museum.
Bus travel has long played a part in Storrington’s transport, from the early days of the horse and motor buses to the present – we are on Route No 1 and Storrington’s old bus garage has been re-erected nearby at Amberley Industrial Museum.
Note that the Museum is open every Wednesday and Saturday between 10 am and 4 pm, and on Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm.
Saturday 2 November 2pm Lee Farm (1) 4.5 miles 2 hrs.
Walk 3010. Meet at Kithurst Hill car park (TQ070124). This walk takes us to historic Lee Farm in the heart of the South Downs behind Storrington. The Car Park is off the Storrington to Amberley Road (B2139). Take the left turn 1.3 miles from Tesco’s roundabout, Storrington. After taking the turning, drive to the Car Park at the very top of the hill. Dogs welcome. Refreshments provided.

Our staff are experienced employability professionals and are well connected with other partners and employers who can help you access the right job for you.
WISH provides the following services:
• Group work sessions, such as CV, letting writing and application form advice
• Connections with local employers and signposting to services across the district
• Workshops on interview skills, confidence and motivation building
• Free access to computers and internet, with on-hand support for those who need it
• Specialist one-to-one advice and guidance if required.
Unless otherwise stated, all meetings are in the Rother Hall of Pulborough Village Hall and commence at 7:30pm. The hall is available from 7pm for setting up equipment.
