We would love to meet customers who need additional help to find a new role, change career path or who find it difficult to connect with the right employer.
Our staff are experienced employability professionals and are well connected with other partners and employers who can help you access the right job for you.
WISH provides the following services:
• Group work sessions, such as CV, letting writing and application form advice
• Connections with local employers and signposting to services across the district
• Workshops on interview skills, confidence and motivation building
• Free access to computers and internet, with on-hand support for those who need it
• Specialist one-to-one advice and guidance if required.
Storrington Chapel Evangelical Church (next to the library car park) have started a community café every Tuesday (except school holidays) between 12 and 2:30 pm.
They are serving a light lunch of soup and cake as well as tea and coffee for anyone who comes. Feel free to come on your own as there are plenty of other people to chat to.
People of all ages are welcome. As with every thing this church provides, it is all free!
‘Gales, Greenhouses and Global Warming’

A talk by professional weather forecaster and regular contributor on BBC Radio Sussex, Ian Currie (Frosted Earth).
An informative and entertaining look at climate change across the UK back through geological time and a look forward to what we can expect for the UK, and more locally in the Hampshire, Sussex, Kent and Surrey area, should current trends continue.
Sullington Parish Hall, Thakeham Road, Storrington, RH20 3PP.
Members £2, non-members £4. Entry includes tea/coffee and cake.
NEW in Storrington – a new youth group has started at Storrington Chapel (next to the Library).
If your child is between 8 and 9, send them along for some old fashioned fun.

Would you like to come out and help look after Sandgate Park?
Our conservation volunteer group will be meeting to carry out invaluable work around the site to improve habitats and conserve wildlife. We meet at 10.00am by the bench next to the path by the heather coming in from the Sandgate Lane entrance have tea and coffee at 11.00 and finish at 12.00 noon.
We will be working to clear footpaths of invasive plants such as rhododendron and bamboo as well tackling new birch seedlings and clearing around valuable specimen trees to ensure that they have enough growing space. We welcome newcomers and whatever the weather the more the merrier! We supply the equipment and thanks to a grant and donations we have splendid new safety equipment and the all important tea, coffee and cake!

Sunday 26 April 10:00am Washington Common, Downland & Windlesham 7 miles 3 hrs.
Walk 3161. A lovely circular walk which includes Downland, National Trust woodland, Sullington Hill, Highden Beeches and Windlesham House School. Great views. This FREE course of workshops focuses on weight loss, physical and emotional wellbeing along with advice and tips for sustainable lifestyle improvements.
The course involves 12 weekly sessions starting 20 April 2020 (N.B. the course can only be joined in the first two weeks). It offers:
- Nutritional advice to help you lose weight
- Interactive sessions
- A toolkit of resources to help you make sustainable changes
- Support from a small group of like-minded individuals
- A gentle introduction to activity in the form of circuit-based exercise with low impact and seated options available

Weekly Climate Cafe discussions groups at the White Horse Hotel every Monday between 4 and 6 pm.
Organised by Extinction Rebellion Arun Valley, these public drop-in sessions start Monday 3rd Feb 2020 and run each week for the rest of the year or until further notice. Entry is free of charge.
