All tickets, including for Members, must be pre-booked online. This is so that we can control numbers and so we have details of those visiting in case this information is required by NHS Test & Trace. There are four 1-hour booking slots for arrivals each day: 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Once in the Museum, you can stay as long as you like until we close at 4.30pm.

Industrial Trains Day is a showcase of trains from the Museum’s collection running along the narrow-gauge track in a coordinated, choreographed working day.
Ride on one of our passenger trains, see our monorail which is being demonstrated throughout the day or talk to our Railway Volunteers about the history of our site.
Passenger trains will run at around 20-minute intervals throughout the day.
The first train at 10:30.
The last train around 16:00.
One of our vintage Southdown buses will also be running to carry passengers around the site.
