Industrial Trains Day is a showcase of trains from the Museum’s collection running along the narrow-gauge track in a coordinated, choreographed working day.
Ride on one of our passenger trains, see our monorail which is being demonstrated throughout the day or talk to our Railway Volunteers about the history of our site.
Passenger trains will run at around 20-minute intervals throughout the day.
The first train at 10:30.
The last train around 16:00.
One of our vintage Southdown buses will also be running to carry passengers around the site.

The village Fete at Bignor Park is back again which promises to be a fun filled day out for children, adults and dogs in the beautiful location of Bignor Park.
We have many exciting attractions including the Dog Show and a Dog Agility Demonstration by Billingshurst Dog Training Club. The Petworth Town Band and Duncan Allan – as seen on The Voice UK, will entertain us.
Stalls include South Downs Lamb Spit Roast, Pimms bar, local beers and soft drinks. Tea and homemade cakes and scones, ice cream vans and a BBQ selling burgers and hotdogs. Plants, bottle tombola, Raffle, Silent Action, Antiques, books, nearly new and plants, hats, scarves, handbags and woodcraft as well as candles, jewellery and art.
Children can enjoy Punch and Judy, bungee run, coconut shy, egg throwing, children art and organised races.
The fete opens at 12.00 until 5.00pm. Entry is £3 per person, under 10s go free.
Sussex Steam Shows Ltd is delighted to announce The Sussex Steam Rally. This brand new event will be held on the weekend of 9th & 10th July 2022 at Parham Park, West Sussex.
The Rally will host a variety of exhibits from steam traction engines to vintage vehicles with trade stalls, local crafts a traditional fun fair to keep the whole family entertained.
Around the field there will be displays of buses, tractors, cars, lorries, military vehicles, bicycles and motorcycles. Our Working Area is the place to see steam powered demonstrations including woodcutting at the saw benches.
- Opening Times Gates Open:Saturday 9.00am – 5.00pm & Sunday 9.00am – 5.00pm
- Tickets are for one single day entry only.
