A community event with a quiz, cake and refreshments, and a special guest speaker telling us of how their life has been fantastically transformed.
This month we have the wonderful opportunity to meet Lauren Windle from London, who will tell us about how her life of addiction and how it was completely turned around.
There is a small charge of £3 or £5 per couple (all of which will go straight to the Beachy Head team who patrol the Eastbourne cliffs to help prevent suicides), but if you are under-18, a student or on low-income it’s completely free. We hope that you will be able to join us.
Free slice of cake and a hot drink with each ticket.
7:30pm on Friday 18th March at Storrington Chapel, North Street, Storrington, RH20 4DH.
See the “coming up” page on our website www.storringtonchapel.org.uk for more details.

“Sussex Green Living”
A Talk by Carrie Cort – CEO of Sussex Green Living
Sussex Green Living is a fast growing, multi-award environmental awareness and education charity. With the help of volunteers, they run the Sussex Green Hub, the Horsham Repair Café, Sussex Green Ideas and their Youth Eco Forum. Green living is a hot topic, so come and hear their aims, activities and lessons we can all use.
Carrie Cort set up Sussex Green Living out of concern for the way we humans are treating the planet which sustains us: with motherhood in 2008 came concern about environmental sustainability and a burning desire to learn how we can live more environmentally friendly lifestyles, in harmony with nature.
She has always had a passion for the countryside, animals and the natural environment. Most of her career has been spent in marketing and communications, mainly within education and the land based industries, latterly using the power of video communications. In an effort to help create a climate for change, she decided to use her knowledge and digital skills to share ideas which anyone can adopt, saving money and the planet.
She says she is not an expert, just an ordinary person who is on a greening journey and wanting to pass on what she’s learnt to others. Let’s all make some simple changes, become more resilient and try to lead simpler, less materialistic and consumerist way of life.
All welcome
