Walk 3099. Meet at Washington South Downs Way car park, RH20 4AL. This walk takes us to the Ring via the escarpment of the South Downs, therefore expect a steep climb. We return by a slightly different route passing a wonderful dew pond on the way. Chanctonbury Ring dates back to the Bronze Age and is a significant landscape feature for many of us living in Horsham District.
