Dear Patient
Thank you all for the amazing support you are providing us.
Due to this support, we have administered 3,749 COVID-19 vaccines and hope to administer another 1,600 vaccines by 7:30 pm on Saturday.
We are currently starting our 5th week of COVID-19 vaccinations. We continue to meet the government targets.
We have now completed vaccinations at all residential and nursing care homes in our designated area.
By the end of this week, we will have vaccinated the majority of patients aged over 80 years in the Chanctonbury Primary care Network (PCN).
We have vaccinated many of the health and social care workers in our area.
The Glebe Surgery is committed to vaccinate those patients registered at member practices of the Chanctonbury PCN (Billingshurst, Henfield, Steyning and Storrington GP surgeries).
The sooner our local rural communities are all vaccinated, the safer we will be.
Next week we have the challenge of administering 1,795 vaccines in three and a half days and we are all very excited about this.
Soon we will be calling patients in the Government Group 3 and 4.
Due to erratic and late vaccine supply confirmation, we cannot book more than 5 or 6 days ahead for our clinics. This means everyone is being called at short notice. We understand this is frustrating but sadly, this is a reality of the vaccination programme currently.
We request you do not call your surgeries regarding COVID-19 vaccination enquiries. We promise we will contact you when it is your turn.
Please also remember that The Glebe Surgery is not just open to provide COVID-19 vaccines.
If you have an urgent need to seek medical advice, or need to follow up a routine problem you must call us.
Once again thank you all for your support without which we could not have accomplished what we have.
