A new community focussed youth choir is starting in Storrington. Aimed initially at 8-11 year olds the choir is open to all without audition – only enthusiasm needed. It is not a conventional church choir and there is no requirement for regular Sunday attendance.
The choir will be directed by Jeremy Weaver who is also Director of Music at St. Mary’s, Horsham and is an experienced music teacher.
It is hoped to launch the choir with a performance of an abridged version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in December.
Rehearsals start at Trinity Methodist Church, Thakeham Road, Storrington RH20 3NG on Tuesday, 13th September at 4.45 -5.45 pm.
