During the coronavirus pandemic Sussex Green Living cannot hold their usual meetings. However they have organised lots of virtual inspiring events to help ‘pocket, people and planet’ using Zoom. 6. Tuesday 14th July – ‘Waste reduction – reuse, resale, remake and recycling‘ by Sussex Green Living/Horsham Repair Cafe (other contributors sought).
7. Tuesday 21st July – Guildford Community Hub – learn about the Guildford Community Hub/Climate Emergency Centre which is in the early stages of development. It consists of 12 different local organisations working together, their aim: education and engaging the wider population to drive behavioural change, and thereby try to reduce consumption emissions. Could we build one in Horsham District? Presented by Ben McCallan, Extinction Rebellian Guildford.
8. Tuesday 28th July – Review the Horsham Future Forum and Youth Eco Forum. No meetings in August. Agreeing a plan for September onwards.
