Volunteer at East Clayton Farm

Who are we?

East Clayton Farm is part of the Lorica Trust, an organisation set up to help vulnerable groups and encourage school engagement through land-based learning.  The site now houses an around-the-clock care, assisted living facility and the land is used to provide a safe and nurturing space for young individuals struggling with day to day life.

What can you do?

Volunteers are essential in helping us maintain the Farm and care for our wonderful animals throughout the year. We need gardeners, walkers, animal lovers and handy people. Turn your hand to something new or offer up existing expertise.

We need volunteers to accompany our donkey walks around the farm. Our donkey walks generate a source of income for the farm and also promote awareness for Lorica Trust, helping to highlight the amazing work we do.

What Time Do I Need to Give?

Any time offered is greatly appreciated, weekly, monthly, or as a one off- get in touch and we can chat through all the options with you. The donkey walking sessions take about 3 hours, times and days vary. We’ll let you know the dates in advance and you let us know if you can make it. It’s that relaxed.

All levels of experience welcomed; full training provided.
