STORRINGTON TRAFFIC GROUP
Are you joining us at our next public meeting?
18th April 2024
15th May 2024
20th June 2024
10th July 2024
7:30pm, Storrington Village Hall
We will be giving an update on progress since the last public meeting, (there’s been lots going on), sharing our list of potential short-term solutions to address Storrington’s traffic issues and planning our Week of Action at the end of May.
May Meeting: We are delighted to announce that we will have special guests, including newly re-elected Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne, who at a recent Parish Council said she understood the pressures our community is under as a result of the volume, speed and type of traffic which makes it way through our streets. This is a brilliant opportunity to share with Katy what impact the traffic has on residents.
IMPORTANT – Please email StorringtonTrafficGroup@gmail.com to let us know that you are coming as, although we would like as many people to attend as possible, the hall capacity is limited.
PLEASE SHARE WIDELY!
If you are able and willing to print and display the poster below please do so.
Finally, did you know there is a Storrington Traffic Facebook Group to engage with residents, gather evidence and share experiences has been set up – you can join it here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/2964128787080776
We’ve also set regular dates for STG meetings to put in your diaries till July – our next STG meetings, all at Storrington Village Hall, will be at 7.30pm on:
15th May 2024
20th June 2024
10th July 2024
Best wishes,
Storrington Traffic Group

A Community Choir in Storrington
A dementia friendly choir at Trinity Methodist Church, Thakeham Road, Storrington RH20 3NG.
Led by cognitive stimulation therapist Ric Gray, the session runs from 1030-1200 with time allowed for a cup of tea or coffee and a chance to make friends before the singing starts.
The choir is aimed at people aged 55 or over who are experiencing memory problems, but is open to all. No auditions, no sheet music, just good fun! The sessions are most informal and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. The songs we sing are well known across different genres and we use a screen to display the lyrics and have accompanying backing tracks.
Anyone interested can contact Robert Gamble at robertgamblerc@gmail.com or 07958 232874.
