Future Plans

We go in to the next phase of our Higher Level Stewardship scheme, in which we will look to expand the heathland element of both Warren Hill and Sullington Warren, and to change the age structure of the heather on Sullington Warren to make it more resilient to environmental threats such as the heather beetle.

We will continue to graze Old Washington Common and the Rough Land with Belted Galloway cattle and with sheep. Via the path network we will create stronger links between Warren Hill and Sullington Warren.

The event offers expert advice from a solicitor and the local funeral director. Local authorities officers will advise on types of care in later life, and the roles of the Registrar, and the specialists. Age UK and St Barnabas Hospice, who welcome the opportunity to explain what hospices can do for you. The local surgery in Storrington will also be represented by one of the doctors.
