STORRINGTON FILM NIGHTS – New Season!

The Rotary Club of Storrington & Pulborough District, are pleased to announce that the New Season of the popular Film Nights will recommence on September 14th.

The first film, on Wednesday 14th September will be “The Duke”, starring Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren. In 1961, Kempton Burton, a 60 year old taxi driver, steals Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellingon from the National Gallery in London.

The showing commences at 7.30pm, at Sullington Hall, Thakeham Road, RH20 3PP.

All Government Covid guidance will be observed.

 

The October film, on Wed 12th, will be “Belfast”, starring Judi Hill.
This is the Oscar winning film directed by Kenneth Brannagh.

 

Tickets are £5, and are available from the Card Shop in Storrington. Any unsold tickets will be available on the door, on the night.

There is a Bar and a Raffle during the interval.

The next film, on Wednesday 12th October will be “Belfast”, starring Jude Hill and Judi Dench. The story of one boy’s childhood, amid the music and social tumult of the late 1960’s in Belfast. This is the Oscar winning film directed by Kenneth Brannagh.

Neighbourhood Watch have looked at the psychology around why people fall victims to scams, to help people protect themselves against the huge number of scams that are happening every day. Peter Wood, Cybersecurity Consultant will show you what you can do to avoid scams.
