The Parish Council hosted a discussion meeting on Friday evening 20th June 2025 at Chanctonbury Leisure Centre to explore whether 20 mph would benefit Storrington, Sullington and Cootham.
Around 80 people attended the session where national and local information was shared and there was a lively exchange of views.
Any speed changes could only be made by WSCC in conjunction with the Parish Council and extensive consultation. The timescale is years not weeks or months.
