At the last County Councillor election in May 2021, 56% of the Storrington Division electorate did not vote! The West Sussex County Council elections will take place on Thursday 7 May 2026.

The Storrington Division of West Sussex County Council includes the parishes of Amberley, Ashington, Parham, Storrington & Sullington, Washington and Wiston.
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on
Monday 20th April 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of
proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Albery House, Springfield Road,
Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2GB by 5pm on Tuesday 21st April 2026. Applications to vote by
post can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-postal-vote.
Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this
election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 28th April 2026.

New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at
Albery House, Springfield Road, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2GB by 5pm on Tuesday 28th

Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Albery House, Springfield Road, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2GB by 5pm on Thursday 7th
May 2026.
