A Community Choir in Storrington
A dementia friendly choir at Trinity Methodist Church, Thakeham Road, Storrington RH20 3NG.
Led by musician Gavin Stevens, the session runs from 10:30-12:00 with time allowed for a cup of tea or coffee and a chance to make friends before the singing starts.
The choir is aimed at people aged 55 or over who are experiencing memory problems, but is open to all. No auditions, no sheet music, just good fun! The sessions are most informal and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. The songs we sing are well known across different genres and we use a screen to display the lyrics.
