Saturday 7th May 2.00pm Sullington Church Level 2 3.3 miles 1.5 hours Walk 2049. Meet at Storrington Rec. Ground Car Park, RH20 4BG. This walk takes us to picturesque Sullington Church which is tucked away at the foot of the South Downs. The route is flat and easy. Dogs welcome. Mick Denness 01903 745971

Sunday 8th May 10.00am West Chiltington, Thakeham & Warminghurst Level 3 5.7 miles 2.5 hours Walk 3164. Charming villages, woodland, farms, and great views across open countryside. Connecting three Norman churches: St Mary’s West Chiltington, St Mary’s Thakeham, and The Holy Sepulchre at Warminghurst used by William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania. Stiles. Dogs welcome. Saturday 14th May 2.00pm Fryern Park Level 2 3 miles 1.25 hours Walk 2042. Meet at Storrington Rec. Ground car park RH20 4BG. This lovely short walk offers uninterrupted views towards the South Downs as route goes through Fryern Park with its landscaped pleasure gardens and waterfall. Includes 5 stiles. Dogs welcome. Wednesday 18th May 10:30am Storrington Riverside Walk Level 1 2.5 miles 90 mins Walk 1507. Meet at Storrington Recreation Ground Car Park, RH20 4PG. Come and explore Storrington’s Riverside Walk. This flat, well surfaced walk is ideal for people who want an easy walk with pleasant views. Suitable for children’s buggies. Dogs welcome, no stiles/hills. Refreshments provided. Sunday 22nd May 10:00am Wiggonholt Common & Parham Park Level 3 5.2 miles 2 hours Walk 3036. Meet at RSPB Wiggonholt Overflow car park, RH20 2EL. This walk takes us through the RSPB reserve and from there along quiet roads and footpaths to Parham Park’s grounds with its veteran trees and herds of deer. Dogs welcome. Mick Denness 01903 745971

Thursday 26th May 10:00am West Chiltington (1) Level 2 4 – 5 miles 2 hrs Walk 2082. Meet in the public car park adjacent to West Chiltington Village Hall, Mill Rd, RH20 2PZ, (TQ083179). Various routes exploring West Chiltington and the surrounding area. Moderate slopes, some stiles, no dogs please as a number of the routes pass through fields with livestock. Sue 01403 255710

Sunday 29th May 10.00am Houghton Forest & Bignor Hill Level 3 5.5 mil 2.25 hours Walk 3022. Meet at Whiteways Car Park, BN18 9FD. This walk takes the South Downs Way to Bignor Hill and affords wonderful views over Bury and Bignor. It then returns along the Monarch’s Way to Houghton Forest. It includes a steep hill. Great news! Horsham’s popular Annual Riverside Walk will take place on Saturday 14th May 2022.

It starts from Horsham Rugby Club car park in Hammerpond Road, at 10.00 am. Registration details are given below.

The Walk will coincide with the worldwide Scout Jamboree On The Trail which means people from the Horsham area will be walking, exploring and enjoying our surroundings simultaneously with groups of people in the UK and across the world doing the same thing on the same day. This year, the walk will be named ‘Jamboree on Horsham Riverside Walk
