PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP UPDATE
Firstly, may I wish you all a Happy New Year, I hope you have all had a wonderful time over the festive season and that you enjoyed reading our first newsletter and found it interesting and informative.
In a recent patients’ survey for the whole of West Sussex GP practices, it was wonderful to see that the Glebe Surgery came 2nd. This is a real achievement considering the upheaval and disruption there has been during the current building works.
We would like to thank Waitrose & Partners for providing us with the opportunity to raise some funds through their Community Matters Initiative. November saw us as one of the local groups vying for those little green tokens!! Thank you to everyone who chose us. We are delighted to have received a cheque from Waitrose to the value of £540.00. This money will help fund the purchasing of new medical equipment.
I would also like to thank Fowlers Estate Agents for kindly agreeing to fund the production of our Newsletter going forward. This kind of community support is very much appreciated.
We are still actively looking for new members to join our small group, we meet on a quarterly basis and if you would be interested please contact the surgery for further information.
