Make Your Group Seen at Storrington on Show
Local volunteer groups do invaluable work, but they need to be visible. Raising awareness helps groups recruit volunteers, reach people who need their support and attract funding.
Word of mouth can only go so far. By explaining what your group does and sharing its successes, you can reach new people, correct misconceptions and show that volunteering is open to everyone. Many roles require no special skills and can be fitted around the time people have available.
Visibility also attracts financial support. Donors and grant providers are more likely to back active, transparent organisations they know and recognise.
Storrington Community Partnership CIO is preparing for the Storrington on Show Volunteering Fair, and invitations have been sent to local groups and organisations.
The fair will take place on Saturday 3 October 2026, from 10am to 1pm, at Chanctonbury Leisure Centre, Spierbridge Road, Storrington. The Studio will open to exhibitors for setting up at 9am.
There is something for everyone in volunteering: a regular commitment or a one-off task, working outdoors, helping in a charity shop, supporting others or contributing computer and administrative skills. Let us encourage more people to jump into the volunteering pool.
Any group that has not been in contact should get in touch as soon as possible (deadline 31 August 2026), providing its name and contact details.

We’d love to have as many local volunteer groups represented as possible!
Don’t hesitate – there is a limit to the number of groups we can accommodate!
