Local screening of ‘Wilding’ documentary

An opportunity to watch this highly acclaimed feature documentary of the Knepp rewilding story.

This beautiful, uplifting film (75 minutes) follows the amazing true story of the visionary Knepp rewilding project. It is based on the distinguished book ‘Wilding’ by Isabella Tree, co-owner of the Knepp Estate.

The 3,500-acres at Knepp in West Sussex have been transformed from failing intensive farmland into a pioneering rewilding success. As the stork flies it is only about 10 miles from Storrington and Sullington.

‘Wilding’ features stunning, intimate wildlife footage including rare butterflies, nesting turtle doves, majestic red deer, wallowing pigs, breeding white storks and a delinquent pony, called Duncan.

The film is an exploration and celebration of a genuine ecological success story; a landmark work in environmental conservation.

At this special screening of ‘Wilding’, we join ecologist, conservationist and Knepp Wildland Foundation trustee Tony Whitbread for an interactive conversation. Knepp items, in particular stork merchandise, will be on sale.

Refreshments available in the break.

7.00pm, Saturday, 17th October at Sullington Parish Hall, RH20 3PP.
