Our very own Memory Tree
at the Village Christmas Event on Thursday
4th December between 5 and 9pm
You can take a moment to recall a little or big personal memory or experience – happy or maybe sad – from 2025 or indeed any time in the past with the help of the Memory Tree.
Here’s how it works. Go to the van in north Street marked SAGE HOUSE, a charity which support dementia care. For a small donation to this invaluable charity, you can collect a gold ribbon and then pop over to the Village Christmas tree outside Henry Adams on North Street. Look for James Riley who will guide you where on the tree to tie on your ribbon. The Memory Tree then lives on over Christmas and offers a simple way to cherish and reflect on your memory or experience.

The Memory Tree, aka the Village Christmas Tree will be in place until early January and your memory will be represented on the tree all over the holiday period.
If you don’t get a chance to do this on Thursday, you can still collect a ribbon from Bamboo and cotton Up until Christmas.
