Would you or someone you know be interested in a “dementia friendly” choir?
Evidence shows that music can help people to feel and live better.
So Trinity Methodist Church, Storrington is trying to assess interest in establishing a “dementia friendly” choir. Aimed primarily at those aged 55+ experiencing memory problems, but open to all, the choir would meet on a Wednesday morning, probably fortnightly.
There would be no auditions or music scores, just the words of popular songs led from the keyboard.
