1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Albery House, Springfield Road,
Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2GB on any day after the date of this notice, Monday to Friday 10
a.m. to 4 p.m. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4 pm on Monday, 22nd December 2025.
2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Albery House,
Springfield Road, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2GB, during the times stated above. Although not
required, candidates are encouraged to make an appointment by calling 01403 215126 or emailing
elections@horsham.gov.uk
3. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 22nd January 2026.
4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on
Tuesday 6th January 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of
proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Albery House, Springfield Road,
Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2GB by 5 pm on Wednesday, 7th January 2026. Applications can be

6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this
election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 14th January 2026.
