The Storrington and Washington Horsham District Councillors have organised a community event dedicated to discussing and finding solutions for the traffic issues in our village.
Here is the invitation:
Join us for a community meeting being held on Friday 17 Nov 2023 at 7pm.
Address: Chanctonbury Leisure Centre, Spierbridge Road, Storrington, RH20 4BG
During this event, we will provide a platform for residents, Storrington & Sullington Parish councillors and your Storrington & Washington Horsham District councillors to share concerns, ideas, and suggestions regarding traffic management. Together, we can work positively towards improving the flow of traffic, reducing congestion, and enhancing transportation in our community.
If you want to contribute towards a better future for Storrington, we encourage you to attend this meeting. Your voice matters, and your input can make a difference!
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, connect with fellow community members, and be part of the positive change. Mark your calendars and join us at the Storrington Traffic Meeting!
We are charging £1 per person to attend to cover costs. If there are any funds left over, these will either go towards a Storrington Traffic Group fund (if we decide to set one up) or to Storrington & Sullington Parish Council (if we don’t set an action group up) to support their good work.
Booking is a MUST as we need to know numbers: tinyurl.com/StorringtonTrafficMeet17Nov23
NB: If we get a lot of interest we may either have to hold two meetings, one directly after the other, or use the larger hall (where the acoustics are challenging). We will keep all registered attendees posted about the details.
Important – there is limited parking at the venue, so please walk if possible, or if you have to drive please lift share if possible and park on the Hormare Estate as we are expecting large numbers of people.
Thank you!
Horsham District Cllrs Emma Beard, Claudia Fisher and Joan Grech
