Storrington Glebe Surgery & PPG 1st Newsletter October 2019

Glebe Surgery Newsletter 1The first newsletter from the Storrington Glebe Surgery & PPG (Patient Participation Group)

Welcome Introduction

As Chairman of the newly formed PPG (Patient Participation Group) I would like to welcome you to this our 1st Edition of a Quarterly Glebe Surgery & PPG Newsletter.

The PPG are all volunteers, as well as patients of the Glebe Surgery and we meet four times a year with members of the Surgery Management Team and GPs. The aim is to discuss the needs, opinions and ideas
received on ways that would benefit both patients and the surgery in the face of an overstretched National Health Service.

If you have a suggestion, query or just want to chat about something for us to put forward at our next PPG meeting please leave a message with reception and one of us will contact you. Please be assured that all
concerns/issues raised will remain confidential.

The role of the PPG includes helping with fund raising, flu clinics, carers’ events and supporting the surgery as and when required, as well as being a platform for patients concerns.
Early in the New Year the surgery will be moving into its new premises on the existing site. This is an exciting time for all of us as patients and also the staff who haveworked very hard to bring this project to fruition.
We are aware that age wise we are not representative of everybody who uses the surgery and some younger input would be very welcome.

LIST OF CURRENT MEMBERS ARE AS FOLLOWS:-
Tony Sewell (Chairman)
Liz Burt, Andy Castle, John Du Bois, Bob Dent, Nick Gras, Michelle O’Neill, Jim Sanson
