Following a heartfelt plea from a Storrington business owner sick of looking at the mess, six Storrington In Bloom volunteers spent a couple of hours one evening cleaning up the frontage of the White Horse Hotel.
We removed a considerable amount of accumulated pigeon poo, cleared and replanted the five window boxes, removed the dead hanging baskets and weeded the cobbles. Our stalwart waterer has kindly agreed to include the window boxes in his regular round.
I am sure you will agree that it is much improved.
