The Storrington Repair Café is starting up at The Village Hub, 7 The Square, Storrington (next to Lloyds Chemist).
The aim of Repair Cafes is to encourage mending items so they are not thrown away needlessly. This will reduce what goes to landfill by Reusing, Repairing and, as a last resort, Recycling.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with sewing repairs, as well as people who can carry out electrical repairs to small items.
The Repair Cafe opens at the Hub on every 3rd Saturday of the month, from 10am – 12 noon, and at Storrington Community Market, Village Hall, 59 West Street, RH20 4DZ the 1st Friday of the month from 9.45am to 11.15am.
We are offering sewing and small electrical repairs e.g. toasters, irons, vacuum cleaners etc. (donations accepted).
