Sullington Windmills WI has a membership of around 65 ladies, with a good range of ages and interests.
Our next meeting is to be held on Wednesday 19 February at Sullington Parish Hall, Thakeham Road, Storrington RH20 3PP at 7.30pm.
The format of most meetings is business/notices etc., then a guest speaker or demonstrator, followed by refreshments and social time (and the inevitable WI raffle!).
This month our speaker is Philip Gulvin and his talk, entitled “How to move a mountain”, is about climate change, which ties in nicely with the Show the Love campaign that we are participating in this month (see our website for more information https://sullingtonwindmills.org/).
This is an open meeting and we welcome you to come along, whether you are interested in potentially joining the WI or whether you just want to talk about climate change.
Should you be tempted to take the plunge and visit us, you will be assured of a very warm welcome. There is plenty of off-street parking, disabled access, plus the hall has a hearing loop and we use a microphone at meetings.
** Non-members are welcome to join us for three meetings at NO cost **
We would love to see you at one of our meetings, why not give us a try.
