A by-election to elect a parish councillor for Storrington & Sullington Parish Council has been called and will take place on Thursday 22 January 2026.
The scheme originates from concerns raised regarding the number of road traffic collisions occurring on the A24/A283 Washington Roundabout. The northbound approach was also identified as a harsh braking site, with incidents occurring due to late lane changes. The planned improvements aim to reduce the occurrence of future incidents.
