The Ravenscroft Guide and Community Centre is available for hire for Guiding, Play Groups and certain community activities.

Please note – this hall is no longer available for hire for events such as birthday parties. Bookings are only accepted from businesses and community groups who are able to provide evidence of their public liability insurance cover.

The features of the centre include:

• A large rectangular hall with an adjacent fitted kitchen. The hall can accommodate up to 80 people sitting or 120 people standing.
• A smaller ‘committee room’ which can accommodate up to 12 seated people.
• Ladies, Gentlemen’s and Disabled toilet and Shower facilies, suitable for use by children
• For pack holidays, a small area upstairs is also available for sleeping. Note however, that for Brownie pack holidays, the number of Brownies must not exceed 18.
• Outside there is an area of tarmac suitable for car parking or outdoor activities
• In addition, there is a grassed area which can also be used for outdoor activities (but not for car parking!)
• The hall is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and has gated access to the adjacent road (Browns Lane).
